Cant sleep cause dead char in bed

Its just weird:
I was playing with a friend and we had to go, so logged out sleeping. When we logged in again, she was still in her bed and couldn't sleep. We decided to wait and explore for a while, but she died... When her new char appeared, the bed was being in use for her old dead char, so there is a dead char sleeping in our "base"...
Please, solve this

IIRC I had this problem, just try to sleep in bed as if there were nobody in it and the sleeping guy should disappear.

You will have to destroy the bed I'm afraid and build a new one. The game has your dead friend recorded as still being asleep in it and therefore will not let anyone access it.
If your friend had not died then what vatas is saying would work simply by your friend clicking the bed and then not clicking the sleep option - it then opens up the bed for use by anyone.

Hrm, why can't you destroy it? Do beds even have damage soak? When you try to destroy it does nothing happen and your stamina just drain or is the problem something else? There are no GMs in this game so one will not read this. The devs are currently working on the next build of this game which is incompatible with the current build so they will not intervene.

We all thought you were referring to a 'sturdy bed' inside a house or maybe a straw bed, for a leanto you would have to use criminal acts to destroy it as it acts as a protection to the owner for things placed inside it. It is not a bug.

Wrong, and even if you did happen to find a bug chances are it's been reported a quadrillion times already since the game's been in its current state for like 5 years now
You should've searched for it before making a thread
