Launcher Won't Launch

Hey Guys,
I originally had the security problem but i fixed that via the java security fix, However when I go to use the launcher it just doesn't do anything.
A box will pop up for a short second(not fast enough to read anything) then closes. Any ideas?

you push the Play Button and the choose "Open with Java Web Start Launcher" in the drop down menu?!?

What OS, what Bit, what Java version?
