Unable to make leather

The tanning bug just hit me. All of my tanning tubs stuck on 92 %. I just built them, fill them with water, bark and a fur, and I never moved them, but they are unable to make leather. This was 2 days ago. I destroyed the buggy tubs bulit some brand new, and realized that, the bug remained, I cant go over 92 %. Very frustrating. Any idea?

You should wait right next to the tanning tube(s) till they reach 100% . Otherwise, if you leave, they always start over from 92%.

You're welcome. Yes it takes time. There might be another solution but i dont know.

There's a small "feature": fill Tubs with water, bark, hide and drop then for a second into aboat or cart, then put them outside again - do not walk into house or cave while in the making (you can do the same in a cave or house but you have to stay)

or just place your tabs at your farm most will be done while farming. (maybe except for troll hides)

Tubs have always been buggy and tanning leather is not exactly in accordance with the game design atm... all the info is in this thread but it is a bit confusing so here is the simple guide:

1. Build tub
2. Fill tub with water until the graphic changes to having blue water inside the tub
3. Place bark in tub - graphic will change again to top of tub being brown stripes
4. Place tub in a boat and take it out again, if you click on the tub it will now show being 92 % done (a bit weird but there you go)
5. Wait in sight of the tubs until they have finished - remember you don't actually have to watch it just log in a low level alt (so it doesn't matter that much if someone shoots him while you aren't watching) and leave him by the tubs.
