Sheep gave abnormal amount of meat

While wandering around I discovered a tamed sheep in a claim appearing to have just decayed. I say this because the sheep was open to the completely and obviously open to the world and was still there. Seeing as we lack enough adult sheep to produce a large supply of mutton I decided to butcher it. It produced a much larger number than 2 intestines (didn't keep exact account as I dumped intestines seeing as we have plenty) and an overall of 38 pieces of mutton (approximately due to not keeping it all). This is much different than the three pieces supposed to be produced. I don't know the exact amount of bone that will be produced but i shall check in a moment and update afterward.

The amount of meat produced goes up as the quality of the sheep raises.
I get a few cupboards from my sheep.

I don't believe a q11 sheep would produce 36 units of meat, but nonetheless I am happy with it and shall use it to make many sausage.

Domesticated animal meat quantities seem buggy sometimes. I remember back in W5 we found a pig that gave seemingly infinite intestines. Was only about Q200, but filled something like 30 cupboards before it decayed. Never hit meat.

There's meat quality and then there's meat quantity. If you found it in an abandoned village the sheep was likely eating grass and starving a bit, so the quality was lowered, but the quantity is unaffected by this.
