can't do anything and missing textures

On one of my characters can't move anymore and has no background textures. Also the menu buttons don't work. I tried with the original client but had the same problems and other characters are fine. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I'm not 100% sure, but, I think it's one of those instances when you need to delete the belt file. Try that and if it doesn't work just return and say so and by then someone else should be able to help.

Ihave it both on ender and the default client so I don't think that is the problem

It seems to me that map-data packets aren't reaching you, which is probably a MTU-related problem. You may want to check your network equipment. In the past, similar troubles have been caused by bad routers.

- Is this problem also happening if you login with that character to your hearth-fire with the default client ?
(try at least 2 times, with a freshly started client in both cases.)
- If not: Locks the client up when you open the characters-sheet and activate the different tab's in the characters-sheet. If yes: at what tab did the client lockup ?

Not at all necessarily so. Since different pieces of map look different, they also compress differently well, affecting the packet size. It could very well be that this character logged out on land that compresses less well.

on both clients when I log in I can't move and try to interact with objects . On the ender client I can open all the windows except the inventory and equipment windows and on the character sheet I can click on all the tabs but trying to buy a skill won't work. On the default client I now immediately disconnect and if try to log in again it say for a minute or 2 already logged in. If i'm lucky I can connect with the default client and looks like the picture below and have the same problems as ender but I only can open the settings window.

I found the problem, the containers were to close to my hearthfire so I got stuck. I fixed it by using my old laptop, I logged in and because of slow loading I could walk out of it then I replaced the containers and everything is fine now. thx for trying to help

I did not see that one coming.

Tip: Next time you think/know your character is stuck. Set your movement speed to max and than try to walk out of the object your character is stuck in. It might take a bit of clicking, but with higher speed you get a better chance of getting unstuck this way.

(Higher speed downside: Higher speed gives a higher chance your character can't get into a correct/(close by) position to interact with a objects. Lowering the speed will than be the solution. Example: Placing a torch into a torch-post that is positioned deep inside a right-angle corner.)
