cannot start game :(

when I open up auto haven the game does not even start and I get a error message saying "unable to load resource :http://www.havenandhearth.com/java/haven-res.jnlp" Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am running java 8 u45
windows 8.1 x64 bit

yes but it is still giving me the same error T-T

something on your side is blocking - the resource download itself is working

check routersettings for port forwarding enabled - needed Ports: 1870 UPD and 1871 TCP

in Java Control Panel - General Tab - Network settings you might try with "direct connection" also
