Hunger bar display bug

The hunger bar will not update the current displayed hunger level based on the hunger reduction (or increase) from regenerating health. This is most noticible in a situation where you eat to overstuffed and do not perform any stamina draining actions. Your hunger goes down as it regenerates your SHP, but since none of it was used to regenerate stamina there is no change in the visible hunger bar.

The game does still track the change and will allow you to switch back to normal walk speed once you are no longer overstuffed, at which point your first step triggers the update since it drained some stamina. (crafting, building, and carrying things also triggers the update for the same reason)

I've noticed this too.
I just wasn't sure if I imagined it or not. :P

Oh yeah i've noticed this too. But it's not really something that needs a fix imo.

Why do you say that it doesn't need a fix?
When I took a revitalizing leech bath I stood there for a really long time (had to heal about 50 hhp)
and when I moved my character, the hunger bar suddenly went from green to red.
Doesn't that warrant a fix? It's obviously a bug.

Oh yeah that does sound bad. I only seen mine change slightly every time it happened.

I actually had no idea that that happened, but it should be fixed now.

hunger only goes down if it has stamina or health to recharge

so, it's not a bug, but isn't that exploitable with some kidn of autoclicker to gain alignment? Shouldn't hunger tick away on it's own?

There is no upkeep cost to hunger.
And yes, it is very possible to abuse this by just having a scripting program click once every thirty seconds.
Surprise.
