Spotted one and picked it successfully. My Exploration is 3 and Perception 10.

For fuck's sake but if the formula is Exploration * Perception = 50+ I should see none :nazicoder:

Fortunately, that isn't the case. :)

The visibility level of the nettles is indeed 50, but that means that you have a 50% chance of seeing them with EXP*PERC=50. You will be able to see some at 25, and you'll see them all at 100.

So does anybody have an idea what the visibility level of cavebulbs is? Because according to this once you have double the visibility level of the hardest to spot herb (assuming it bulbs) perception/exploration is only useful for tracking scents.
