Tanning process stops inside house

Postby Doll » Thu Jan 07, 2010 6:17 pm

I put my tanning tubs inside my house once they were filled so they wouldn't decay. They didn't progress at all while indoors. When I took them outside the process started again.

Is this a bug? A known bug? I didn't find anything about this on the forums.

you sure about that? i've tanned stuff inside before. unless this is a recent unannounced change it should work... tanning is pretty slow though, how long were they in the house?

An hour and a half to two hours inside the house, twenty minutes outside the house. This was after they were unloaded from a cart.

Also, when I put the vats in the house they were at 93%, 92%,92% and 92% from being in the cart.

When I checked them after doing various camp chores, and expedition around the island etc. the first one had reset to 92% like the others. However, there was no crash or anything like that that should have caused the reset.

It's probably just the same bug that puts the tanning tubs at 92% from being in a cart to begin with.
