Erased maps

Postby Sarien » Sat Jan 16, 2010 8:26 pm

So...I went on a mapping expedition today, creating two new local maps. When I went to add them to my map cupboard, I found that all my previous maps had been erased. They show as having been written on (i.e. they aren't blank parchments), but they are all empty.

The two I created today are fine, but I've got about 35 or so local and regional maps that are now blank.

It's a consequence of the move to the new server hardware. It's currently in the process of remaking the minimap data for the current maps, and only once that is done will I start moving over the historical data. When I do that, they'll start working again.

Sorry for the necro...

Did this happen again? I made a partial local map last week, and now I just completed it. I copied it and the copy is completely "erased." I also made a new regional map and it is also "erased."

Or is it a different problem?
