Can't use Arrow Shot, please help?

It's so strange I've been using my bow (quality 10, hehehehehehe) to kill all my prey, even fencing myself up and attacking crazy bears... But all of a sudden it's no longer turning up with the sword icon anymore when I click on the button. I've also recently aquired the ranger skill, but I've been able to use it since then. I've tried unequipping everything and then only equipping the bow. Is it a bug or is there something I've missed? Any coments will help!

I tried making extra arrows that weren't in my quiver (that wasn't equppied, does it need to be equipped to work?) and now I am able to shoot again! Thanks for your help.

Yes, the quiver needs to be equipped (sadly it takes the same slot as the backpack).
