when you shift click most things it automaticly transfers the item. Except for taking things out of a kiln this process doesnt work.

Its always worked for me? I just tried it, still works.

I've found that if you open your inventory after opening the container you want to transfer from, shift-clicking seems to b0rk sometimes. Always been able to fix it by walking away and re-opening the container again.
