No LP from Inheriting

I have five dead characters. The oldest one should provide me with right around 80kLP when I choose to inherit from her, but I'm receiving none when I choose to inherit.

You don't get actual LP refund. You get reduced skill values (skills like melee or sewing) and a discount on buying base skills you had (skills like yeomanry or rage).

What? last time i died i got LP back
from all the skills i bought but stats
were reduced; something new?

I've never gotten a discount. I've only ever gotten an LP refund, and I've been through two actual deaths in the past month.

Furthermore, before I killed off my other characters to tidy up my character screen, I would get 79kLP when I chose 'inherit', along with the stat and skill values and personal beliefs (minus Change, naturally). I could repeatedly inherit from the same character to reset any skill value or skill choices that I had made, to look at what different 'builds' were possible.

Before the character actually entered the world, I logged out (:lo) and chose to off all of my other characters by taking them for a swim. When I was recreating the new character, I chose to inherit from the oldest character again. I received the stat and skill values, as well as the personal beliefs, but I did not receive the 79kLP that I had received about a half-hour earlier.

PEBKAC - the character sheet wasn't auto-refreshing when I inherited as it was earlier in the same day. I closed the character sheet and reopened, and the mystery LP appeared. All 79378 of them.
