Lower performance?

I'm not quite sure about this but since about two days ago, the H&H client software started to lag on two rather high-end computers I'm using. By lag I don't mean internet lagging, but a lower FPS rate. Was there any major change in the client that made it eat up more resources, or could it be just be the PCs' fault? I don't remember doing any changes to my system, so I'll just ask here.

make sure you have current manufacturer's video card drivers bla bla bla
