I can not mine Clay?

I spent like 3 hours trying to find clay, I went around the whole island... and yes I know how to do it(and the LP i am getting is over 10). I got one at the very beginning and that was it. so what's wrong? are others having the same problem???

Clay is a scarce ressource on this map. It only exists in a few hotspots. The higher the q of the peak of the spot, the bigger the area you will find clay in. I am sure it was just bad luck on your side you didn't find a spot for hours. The one clay you dug in the beginning was most likely at a q10 spot, it can happen that you won't get anymore clay out of those.

walk into the water, and then go to the adventure section and select dig, and then click the shovel oi the water next to you(shallow area)

You need pottery to get the option to dig clay.

Hmm...the same thing is happening to me.

From reading the wiki information about clay, I gathered that every shallow water tile would contain one piece of clay. However, I have been digging up shallow water near and far and I haven't found a single piece, although I get 14xp for each attempt, even if I dig in the same place over and over again. Now THAT part must be a bug, mustn't it?

I believe some areas have a q of less than 10 which means they will not produce even the single clay found at a q10 spot.
