How come Claymore is a starting point when you can't actually exit the palisade?

Actually that other place has the same deal. I found two other noobs and we just walked around looking at flour in baskets.... It was weird. Please someone destroy the palisade?

Are we going to fix it or we just gunna say that its part of the game and no more use for those towns.

If leaders could spend authority to delete objects, as suggested elsewhere, this would no longer be a problem.
