Insomnia

It's bed time. My poor little character decided to snuggle down in a spruce bough bed in her house and go to sleep. All went well at first. The bed reassuringly offered the expected option of "sleep".

Now she is just standing there, on top of the bed, on top of someone who appears to be sleeping there, twitching like a dog with a fly on its nose. And I can't left click to make her walk away. I can't close her inventory either. I'm going to try for the red x button log out, but this is not going to help her reduce her travel weariness, I think. :?

Well, I don't know why it happened, but if right-clicking on the bed doesn't help, you can always solve your dilemma by destroying the bed.

I'm not an expert but I think your client is locking up or hanging when you try to sleep.

On a few occasions I've had it stutter for a moment and been able to see my awake self standing on top of my sleeping self before having the client return to the login screen or crash with an error message but my character was asleep. Hopefully it's just a matter of inconvenience and you just have to forcibly shut off the client but your character is actually sleeping.
