Obtained metal Q bug (or not?)

I built new Q36 smelter, put 2 pieces of Q32 and 2 pieces of Q28 coal. All my ore became Q19 bars and stones.
Why? Is it a bug? I received Q26 or 28 bars with Q24 smelter before, why is the quality dropped?

Happens to me sometimes too. It's a shame to chop a hq tree, make hq coal and then get shitty metal. I wonder, is it intended or is it a bug?

It happened to me several times too. Always in a case when I logged out for a long time during ore smelting/kiln burning process while no one else was nearby.

Tried one more time half an hour ago, the same smelter and same coal. 31Q bars. Dunno what i different did this time.

just had it happern to me q 38 coal q 50 smelter resulting in q 24 bars, just an annoying waste of resources and time

i have heard it can sometimes reset fuel q to 0 for things that are still burning.

No, both times server was up.

check if the smelter needs repair. i don't know if its related but last time that happened to me aI noticed that my smelter wasnt in its best shape. I repaired it and i didnt had any problems since.

you have to actually sit and watch it or the Q will decrease don't log of then check later

I want to confirm this bug. Tested with q76 ore smelter. When you logged in while the process, everything is going ok. If you have to reboot - everything goes bad (like the smelter is 10 quality).

Will try to test it with someone else logged in and checking (not the one started the process), and also logging off for all the process except the very end of it. Still it looks like a bug.
