Containers nuked if KO'd while carrying

Postby KoE » Fri Jul 03, 2009 4:44 pm

After having a horrible wave of the orange menace (foxes) assault my camp, I had thought them all slain. I went about my business moving some furniture around and I had a (thankfully empty) chest over my head.

Another fox comes out of nowhere and strikes me a couple of times before I can get it down, knocking off the last bits of my SHP. The chest goes poof as I keel over. Probably something of a rarity, but the bug is there.

I actually believe it happens when you log out too, I think they may know about it.

i think its the same bug as was mentioned before.. the fact that if you are "forced" via ko or log out to drop something your carrying but the location where it should land is blocked by something... it "dissapears". I think lothar said he'll fix it at some point.

Yeah that makes perfect sense now that I think about it. I knew of the bug but it never occurred to me that your unconscious body itself is blocking where the chest would plop down.

We used to get people trapped under runestones from that situation. If they were in combat, especially if they had left the aggro fox or whatever long behind, the results were...irritating.
