Bug leading deaths. Seriously, death.

The worst monsters in the Hearthlands warp the fabric of space and time..

Bug leading deaths. Seriously, death.

Soo, as some have seen in the Inn of Brodgar section there's something TOTALLY wrong here.. We are being raided and right at that moment we can't log out, we stay logged in until we starve to death, we ran away from our village for about 1 and a half supergrid or something, and we can't just log out.. We don't have aggro, this is a bug or the work of a hacker, which is remarkable, as he entered the village without smashing walls, and the gates are ALWAYS closed. We have found no trace of wall-hoppers what-so-ever and there's no river in the area the bug through the walls.. What is going on? 3 of us died already.. And so far all my alt Hearthfires have dissapeared inside and outside the village, and as far as I know there's no way to destroy a Hearthfire with bare hands... Can a dev or atleast SOMEONE look into this?

I will not come back into the game until this is solved, and maybe I don't come back at all, I just want the hacker to be punished and to save the other poor guys out there which might become victim of his actions.. We have a slight idea about who he/she is.

AFAIK HF has a soak damage of 5 so you need 60 strength to deal damage to it. This is easily obtained through a bear cape and a bear talisman.
If you keep focusing on the shadow behind, you will not see the light in front of you.

Being successful isn't just about hard work and succeeding, it is also about picking yourself up when you fail.

As I said, I was logged out, but I kept logged in, so I couldn't eat at all.

You mean when you try to log in, you could not?

He logs out, but his character is still there losing hunger me thinks.
Like when you have aggro and log out. Your character will stay logged in until you lose it.
Except apparently, he does not have aggro.

I am not able to confirm this but I think if smeone agrro'ed with range but does not shoot, it keeps the person logged in as if in combat but will not show the combat portrait.

Woo! Talk about a game destroying bug! If this is the case then you can assasinate anyone's character by merely having two or three people aim at them and then run like hell in three different directions. Even an uber character isn't going to be able to get three runaway archers simultaneously. And after that it is just a matter of time waiting until the player has to be off line for a long enough stretch that their poor character dies.

Who gets the cape for this? (Not that they are doing capes any more afaik.)
