Tanning Tubs Extremely Glitchy?

I recently built a Log Cabin to start my leather producing career. I built three tubs, filled them with water and bark, and put my dried rabbit hides inside.
I never picked them up, never moved them, just left them alone.
Now they are stuck at 93% even though it's been over 24 hours.

I've visited my neighbors tanning building and their hides NEVER turn into leather either, they always get stuck at the same percentage.


Am I doing something wrong?

They stuck at 92-93% if there is no active players around. You need to wait near them for some time. I mean, you can left them outdoors and make other work at your plot at the same time. "Indoors" counts as different locations, so tube "thinks" that there is no one near, even if youre behind the door.

That seems like a rather foolish way to limit my leather making ability. I mean, I built this entire cabin for the soul purpose of holding tubs and now I have to keep them outside? What, does my leather need love and attention?

It's the same as the cart bug: just fill the tubs and leave the cabin, come back a few minutes later and the tubs will be at 92%. Then idle next to them till they're done. This shortens leather creation time massively.
