When you disassemble the raft, the pieces pretty much goes flying all over the place around it, some of it goes into the water which makes it unretrievable unless you use the boat lift bug.
If you keep focusing on the shadow behind, you will not see the light in front of you.

Being successful isn't just about hard work and succeeding, it is also about picking yourself up when you fail.

Yes. This is odd behavior that seems to be related to how the game handles stuff being dumped. It reminds me a lot of a building explosion. Caught me off guard. Good thing I tried it out near town where I could just bring the rest of the stuff in by boat.

But yeah, what he said. It's pretty annoying, and if you don't have a boat near you (which would be pretty silly to have a boat AND a raft in the field) or have like 1000 Con to swim, you're screwed.
