Permanently Unconscious?

I'm relatively new to the game. I set up a primitive little camp in the forest near a river. while chasing down a rabbit for its bones, I was attacked by a boar and quickly knocked unconscious - I know, same old story - so I travel back to my hearth fire, wait a few hours, and wake up. I run off into the forest in pursuit of another one of the tiny long-eared bastards, and get knocked out by another boar. So just like before, I travel back home, wait a while... and I still haven't woken up. That was four days ago, real-time. Surely it isn't normal to be out this long?

i dont get your story at all, it doesn't make sense. how the heck did you travel back to your camp if you were not awake already? if you dont have stars flying around you. just click move somehwere. you will get up.... you do not have to wait a few "hours". you wait like 30 seconds.

if your getting knocked out from walking around, its probably because you dont have shoes and your getting thorns in your feet.

if your on the ground permanently and your looking at yourself from another character because you cant log in. you are dead.

edit: thought of another situation. what if this guy was "starving" and got knocked out by a boar? would he never get up because he is constantly being drained of HP?

There are pauses in between the drains, also, he had too walk around first indeed to be knocked out by thorn in the foot.
Strange business.

By 'travel', I mean that I logged out, then logged back in at my hearh fire. After all these days, there are still stars over my head, and clicking anywhere doesn't do anything. It can't be thorns, I'm still wearing the clogs I got from the starting chest. As for food, my hunger bar is green with a slice of orange, which I am assuming means I'm getting hungry. does this mean that I'm just going to have to lay there until I starve to death?

no it means you somehow bugged your character. iam guessing the logging out did it. You have to message jorb or loftar and let them know you logged out while knocked out and logged in at hearth because it might be a reproducable bug, but i dont feel like testing it right now.

How much time have you waited online? Offline time doesn't count toward getting over a KO.
