heyho

when is was logging in i wasnt able to spawn at my hearth fire, only at the ring and my last log. when i finally reached laketown i realized that my hearth fire was gone... just poof - gone

made a new one now

That's because the devs, for whatever reason, decided it was a GOOD idea to let people destroy other people's hearthfires. The ONLY reason you would want to do that is to grief. :P That and hearthlocks, but that could have been fixed by not allowing objects within one tile of doors and ladders.

hmm, sounds very very bad, as the hearth fire was in the vault. either the townmembers have got crazy or someone got into the vault :)

haha well, im gonna hunt silkmoths now

Incorrect, there are more reasons to destroy HFs than just griefing. I have destroyed several inactive hearth fires lying around in the Bottleneck town square. My reasons? They were in the way of growth, and they were producing civilization.

Kim, you may want to read up some of the other forum threads.

The Lake Town vault was indeed compromised and all its valuables stolen.
