you're still in the player spawnzone basically, you need to travel a ways off....of course you could always be in the center of the bloodshed to come

Once you're away from other players it's pretty common. The problem right now is just the number of players stripping the central grid of everything it's worth. Expect the spawn grid to be a desolate wasteland by the end of the month.

Spawns shouldve been randomized, with party arrows.

Lol I spoke to you in game. You are pretty close to the original spawn areas. I walked north about an hour and I found there to be a lot more birch on trees. Maybe move your camp a bit now before it is to developed.
