It was a good world. Had a lot of fun moments and the community has improved a lot along with the game.

Sadly Haven worlds last too long with how the game is right now. It would be a great seasonal game.

It's the best world so far when it comes to player activity I think. So old yet people still play and there's fights and shit.

The current situation with no killing is the best one. Wounds should be made more serious.

Would be as simple as giving any kind of laceration wound a higher chance to turn into infection, removing or nerfing soap, and making infections capable of spreading beyond someone's constitution cap so that it leads to death.

+&Or giving adder bites the same situational constant worsening until lethal.
+&Or introducing internal bleeding...

Two-part solution:
Meteor showers
  • Every week or so a meteor shower occurs, where rare items drop from the sky in small locations.
  • Everyone is given a quest and a warning that meteors tend to attract attention of other, dangerous hearthlings.
  • The location of the meteor craters are shown like a quest-giver. They all drop at the same time after a set amount of time.
  • Villages can construct some form of an ancient observatory to determine where and when the meteors will land. Could also determine the loot of each meteor.
  • People have to mine the rock and free the items for 10 minutes, with at least about 50 strength, and must not leave the crater.
  • Salt and ancient roots are now tied into these meteor showers.
This grants an objective for PvP and a tie-in for high-end resources that can't be alt'd to shit.

Robust Wounds
  • Wounds from PvP last longer, and are harder to heal if you have rage.
  • These wounds hinder combat stats.
  • A portion of the wounds require a combination of hearth magic, ancestral worship, quests, and/or rare resources such as troll items, gold, silk, etc.
  • The bigger the wounds, the more expensive it should be required to heal. As you have higher health, the more resource intensive you should be to heal.
  • Another portion of the wounds are "Battle Scars."
  • Battle Scars can only be healed by drops from the aforementioned meteor showers.
This is a wound system that can't just be ignored by PvPers. Instead they have to invest resources and fight over the rare drops for a chance to heal their previous injuries, coming full circle with the desires of PvPers, to actually PvP.

Medic could just be another skill added, but could be tricky to implement properly. Having on-field medics that quickly "bandage" injuries in PvP scenarios to lessen the long-lasting wounds could be cool, but are beyond the scope of this idea.
