Doesn't really have anything to do with the game. It'll just get the moderators annoyed with you.

Hows this:
Thou shall not swim without first developing your Constitution.

That memes dead, you can swim thin rivers with fresh-spawns, medium ones if you don't mind risking some HHP damage.

Everything but a short, 2-3 tile swim at 10 CON will still leave you completely out of energy and drowning. It's rare to find a crossing that narrow, and that asphyxiation penalty is horrid for a new character, even just a few points.

You're probably right, though, in that it's not one of those "top 10 things" for new players.

I think 'never take a horse mining' is an even better idea.

Probably better to say "never ride a horse while mining"

Another thought for a commandment:

"Thou shalt not be a glutton (until one has food for days)."

This basic formula of test/trial temple (any ideas to change or add something always welcome)

So after some talk among the clergy (umm mabye wrong word) seems like a duel God approach seems best lol still need commandments and general ideas to make it helpful and feel religious

I was thinking about a spawning troll instantly attacking in case it sees a horse - or does that only happen in case you currently sit on it?

You may be right. My understanding was only if mounted. Roads underground are much more convenient than horses.

Code: Select all
"We are Jorb and Loftar,
No other games before ours.
No personal claims next to other people's,
Do not swim without full stamina,
Remember Legacy Haven & Hearth,
Honour thy moderators and developers,
Thou shalt not fight big game unprepared,
Thou shalt rush Right to Power and Yeomanry,
Thou shalt make kin with thy neighbor,
Thou shalt teleport to thy Hearthfire before going AFK."

How'd I do?
If you have nothing to make, then maybe it is still something. Why? Because you possess the idea that you wish to make something from nothing.

The run-on sentences are real! Also, I stopped playing the game, but I figured I'd still lurk on the forums and such until World 11.
