Satiations is the only thing that actually stops you from spamming same food for infinite gains, it should stay.
Hunger regeneration is fine, I guess fep bonus from low hunger could be higher.
Questing is cringe indeed

I like the current system except the drinks part.
It's still fuck unclear (maybe just to me) which drink targets what. Are all sausages meats? Are all foods containing flour bread? Are meat pies both bread and meat? Who knows not I.
When I sit down to eat I usually eat a bunch of different things (to minimize waste due to satiations) and only rarely do I eat a lot of one thing so either I'd have to drink all the drinks and waste drinks or somehow figure what the hell drink applies to what.
So I would change drinks back to reducing satiations after you get the satiation.Would be naturally much easier to test them anyway and you could have an easy interface where it would highlight all the satiations that would be reduced when you "taste" a drink (without consuming any of the drink).

Agree, it's not clear, and can only by tested by consuming all drinks and checking which one ticked for certain food eaten. It's also hard to follow, is butter-steamed cavebulb a dairy or vegetable? Fish pie a bread or fish? Meat drinks is not working towards sausage so I assume sausages are not meat but sausage?
Previously it was easier, once satiations were just food groups, you had food highlighting it's own satiation, but once satiations are now unique to food, it's no more viable.
Perhaps next time instead of rebalancing food and hunger mechanics devs could spend some of their time to bring clarity here, along with some other topics discussed here.

Did not mean for it to turn into a critiques and ideas thread, but it would be nice if foods just displayed which food groups they belonged to for the purposes of drinks :)
Is this the real life?
Or is it fantasy?

The grinding for good stats is really tedious now, the amount of food needed is way too much. Hunger needs to cap stat gain sooner and harder.

+1, I was skeptical and felt like foods were being homogenized, but it ended up feeling great and I love that the hunger bar is actually a mechanic now instead of something all pros just keep at 0.0% forever. It is acting as the soft cap it was always supposed to.

I played some world start I liked alot that random berrys/nuts are actually viable early game and dont gimp you longterm. still think i agree with snuggle, hunger doesnt feel like it rewards inactivity/casool enough, and satiations almost hurt casauls more because we just wanna log on binge eat not play all day and optimise with timers.

So the scaling barely slows down its just linear. You come back in 6 months and you are just an ant to be stepped on

Isnt the world supposed to reset around 6 month now anyway? genuine question
