Payment alternatives

Postby ptm93 » Sun Aug 30, 2015 10:28 pm

[This is not a thread to complain about paying to play]
Yet, we can try to list some of the reasons that makes the current system stupid, and convince j&l to change it.
Since everybody got disappointed with the current payment system, and jorb & loftar do need some payment for their job, and they've already said that are open to suggestions, why dont we try to find some alternatives that would encourage people to donate but would also not restrict(a lot) the gameplay for other users?
This will be a win-win situation, as most of us wont have to stop playing, and jorb and loftar will get their money.

I'm sorry if there is already a thread like this, i didnt see any.

If suggestions start to appear, i'll edit this post.

PS: Sorry if something doesnt make sense, english is not my mother tongue.

I would be satisfied with a simple price reduction. If they reduced it to 5$ a month I'd pay in a heartbeat and be happy to be supporting the game.

You can buy one year of bronze subscription for $72, which is $6 a month. It's almost the same, but its a one-year-subscription.

ANOTHER one of these threads? PLENTY of feedback has been already given to jorbtar and they said they'd consider it and talk about it and perhaps do some changes when they meet up on Monday. Until then making any more of these threads is pointless.

Seriously, you didn't see the 100+ pages of the announcement thread? Or the 80+ pages of the "P2P plan" thread? Come on man.

Exactly. I didnt read 100+ pages of random posts, with eventually some suggestions, or other 80+ pages of kids crying.
Thats why i made this thread, that would be focused on it.

$5 is maybe kinda low, we still need to remember why they wanted to montize the game in the first place. Make it $7 and I'm in.

since it's still in ALPHA stage I think $15 until the final release would be very fair...

jorb: I don't want *your* money. You are rude and boring. Go away.
Sevenless: We already know real life has some pretty shitty game mechanics, it's why we're here instead.
Avu: The end is near it has finally come to pass: I agree with Lunarius...
Shubla: There are also other reasons to play this game than to maximize your stat gain.

H3retostay - There will never BE a final release, hence "Eternal Alpha"

It's been in Alpha for years, it will remain in Alpha.

While I do not directly accuse you of anything, there is really no need to read all the nonsense that's been going on the forum. A Search function resides on the forum and it works like a charm.
