Multilingual Hearthlanders

Out of curiosity, how many of you speak two or more languages? I've been learning German in my free time and it seems like a large majority of H&H's players are multilingual.

2 or more, prob the majority out there. That's a ridiculous question, considering a lot of people don't come from an English speaking country and a lot of those actually speak English to play with other people.

You think it will be easier for asking who will only speak one single language?

On topic: I am English speaker.

Sorry, just being honest... If I ever want to flame you, you will see words like 'fucking' or 'retard' and I won't even bother answer to it.

If you want more info, I speak 5 languages - not all as well as English though. 2 really is the minimum in most countries for young people nowadays, all my friends irl speak 3 to 5 languages...

@Ysh I would rather ask 3 and more languages :D

I think for American citizen it is odd for speaking more than one language. We can be like Orc from World of Warcraft.

Bur.

More on the topic, most of my russian-speaking mates (villagers and kin) can barely read english, and I've met some people who can't even speak proper native language. I think we need some sort of criteria for "speaking a language".

Fun fact: I had some recent problems due to misunderstood broken English, when a russian guy tells something to a polish guy, he takes it as a threat and tries to describe the situation to his settlement's autorithies, one thing leads to another and I log in to see a "retribution squad" waving e-penises on my doorstep. People are so touchy and violent these days.

I speak polish, english, german, russian, romanian, portugese and filipino.

I pity all of the Americans that can only use "Enligsh (simplified)".
