"Your video helped me when I was in a bad place"

You know those kind of comments? People saying some streamer or musician helped them feel better, in a comment on that creator's work. Genuine? Engagement farming? who knows.

This is kind of the opposite. I'm in shambles right now and it would have been a lot more manageable these past few months if i had felt like I could lose myself in the H+H world. But it would have killed me to play for 3 weeks and then be told a wipe is happening, especially alongside everything personal.
Some kind of world reset or even assurance this world was going to be around until November would have improved my life, not drastically, but measurably.

Food for thought.

I find meditation can help a lot when the voices and hallucinations get a bit too much. It doesn't have to be buddhistic or whatever, just chill yourself and practice stillness of mind. I've been seening a lot of eyeballs lately and would highly recommend the game LOOK OUTSIDE if you want to freak your shit.

But nah, I still don't get why people care about lost progress in Hearth. Enjoy the game for what it is, not for what your character in the game could be after 6 months of grinding work. I don't know, maybe I'm full of shit.

Either way, hope you'll be getting on well soon.

I remember back in 1963 when Haven and Hearth came out, I was 13. I was living in Pittsburgh, PA. My sister was just turning 18, my dad was alive and in his late 30's while my mom was in her early 40's. I'm now 52 years old living in Orlando, FL., my sister is 56 living in Indiana with her 29 year old daughter, my dad passed away last year and my mom is 79 living in a nursing home. Where are the devs? I live with my 22 year old half-brother and we got two other brothers living in Raleigh, NCs. Wow, how time has gone and there are still no updates. Happy Holidays everyone.

It'll only get worse. Eat some slop and goon in the meantime.

Fully aware. I'm Canadian. My 33 years of life has been constant observation of things getting worse.

I've wondered many times if making this game really was a boon to the world.

It's an amazing game with a feel that is very very hard to find elsewhere, and all it's really lacking for me is communication. Everyone complaining about PvP/Siege/Trade is irrelevant to me because I don't see people much in-game, even during peak player counts. And part of me feels like it's that crowd that stops the devs from making decisions. If it wasn't for the forum, I'd have almost no idea what "high" quality levels are.

When you're down in life, maybe sometimes it's better to shake things up rather than go to what's familiar.

I'm not allowed to. I have a wife and kids and I've been told repeatedly that my existence is entirely out of obligation for my past decisions. If I try to shake things up while things are getting worse, it becomes my fault that things got worse. Every time.
