fishing is ridiculously slow now

have you ever gone fishing in real life?

I do, and if I'm not snagging one every few minutes, I'm doing something wrong and changing things until I am. If after an hour or two of doing this I've not succeeded, I'm in the wrong place, there the wrong day, or the fish just ain't hungry.

Yeah, it's slower than it was, but even with the most basic of poles it's not that bad.
