I find that living near friendly neighbors who are willing to trade gets you the advantages of being in a group and of playing alone. You aren't obligated to do stuff for them and you can do things at your own pace, but if you need help or if they need help you'll be there for each other anyways. Truly the best of both worlds.

I might give this a try. Hopefully I get to meet friendly neighbours. (:

We haven't played together since pretty much world one.

I'm a cave hermit, gonna go completely underground except for a pali and maybe a farm. Yes Jorb, your silly bats don't scare me.

On the contrary I've been in villages for most of my time since W3, gonna sit around by myself and wait till a village interests me enough to travel out there/the game stabilizes.

Playing solo as well. I'd like to have a group but none of my friends are particularly interested in the game.

I find it pretty rewarding, everything I made is mine alone and it's quite nice know that I did it all by myself! That said the first days prior to getting yeomanry were pretty rough, stick walls aren't that good at keeping people out! I lost many half done rabbit furs from my poorly hidden rack!

It's all good fun though!
