Idk man I've been a LS at least 3 times now of villages with like 11 members and it's rare to actually recruit fighters
Most villages with members still don't really have the means to coordinate and defend themselves, not just hermits

I don't even think that the group combat is that much stat based tbh, we can fight against our enemies even tho they outstatt us by like 10x (not even kidding) - it's very hard and it's easy to lose but with that kind of difference it should be extacly like that, if you could kill a 10000str guy with 1000str in a 1v1.. then I'd be as unfair as w6 movement combat heh

That's why these villages with 11 members that don't want to fight should be like "hey you big village lawspeaker, we will give you salt/icicles/curios/food/something and you will protect us, okay?" then you can both play in a hermitage&not get rekt

Eh i still think combat should generally involve individual skill as well and not just be a group combat flexfest.

Also my other ideas were mainly for removing the attribute power creep that happened. I remember when 1k stats was INSANE back in the day. All these percentage bonuses kinda broke the game

Infinite stat growth is retarded, been saying that forever. It makes it pretty much mandatory to bot, because no real human can grind hardcore every day for months on end, so if you take a break like a normal human being you'll be left behind so no sense in returning before the next world reset.

Also, they could cap stats without a reset ¦]

Wrong. Capping stats is retarded. Infinite stat growth is fine IF YOU CAN still be relevant without grinding like a retard. Basically, if stats are only mildly important, infinite stat growth is fine.

Here's an analogy: Pay to get advantage. That is retarded. Is it? I don't think so. It definitely could be, but an advantage such as faster tree chopping speed or 15% more LP gain are low enough that it really doesn't matter.

thats actually what happens to me every world since w7 hehh I find some new cool game, play it for 2 weeks and then there is no point to come back

If stat grow doesn't mean anything, why have stats at all? IMO uncapped stats could only work if you cap the delta, but that's been tried and failed because it made rage alts OP. But what if you needed to get a reasonably hard credo to unlock this cap?

I still prefer caps, though, because they can make gear almost as important as stats, provided the cap is on base attribute and gildings can take you over it.

The problem is that character progression is completely busted. Remove bonfires. Remove satiations. Lock salt and icicles behind things that can actually be fought for. Rest of it can be adjusted as needed.

Stat caps aren't the solution. I hate them. They impose gameplay in arbitrary ways, and are only band-aids to bad gameplay.
