Okay so why did you kill an innocent person who did nothing but want to make his group happy? And then rob his corpse like it was anything of value?

I see from your posts that you really like to project onto snail but let me tell you - when you point at someone and accuse them degeneracy, you’re really pointing 3 fingers at yourself.

How would that help if they are getting bashed before they dry?

But you need to wait until its dry anyway, the difference is that before it provided defense against vandalism

Well okay fair enough, ultimately though unintended mechanics like blocking an entrance with an object that (when fully dried/activated) requires siege to be destroyed should not be considered a real solution anyways.

What the game actually needs are better ways for players to protect themselves against those types of threats. For example I know there have been suggestions made in the past for a wall type in between fence and palisade which perhaps could require greater strength and/or the use of a pickaxe to destroy. Implementations like that are what should be added, not simply relying on obscure mechanics like blocking a cave entrance or exit. Maybe a palisade should also require at the very least having a pickaxe equipped, and a brickwall a sledgehammer, when attempting to bash not yet fully dried walls. Other stuff like that.

I get the point you and others are making and I do agree with you that it is frustrating to be forced to adapt your play style to counteract lifeless losers, especially when everything seems to be tailored in favour of such individuals.

I agree. Pvp is a cancer and it should be removed from the game. Or, at least, vandalism and claimbashing disabled for the time reasonable spruce cap can put up a dried palisade, i.e. 5 days
or made significantly more expensive
or maybe the issue is that in this world, everything is faster
idk. id personally remove pvp

Removing pvp would result in substantially more permanent methods of ruining another person's run, and there's no cure for the deep-spine, pants-shitting terror the belligerents have for the notion that someone else might be having a good time.
