Do bone and stone arrows have about the same damage? I'm asking if it's worth crafting for example q15 bone arrows instead of q10 stone arrows.

Stone arrows are a lot lower, i do 230 dmg with Q10 bow and likw Q20 arrows but stone arrows are closer to like the 150 mark.

In world 7 stone arrows did more damage, but it seems Bone arrows do more now; and it is much easier to get higher QL bone arrows than stone anyhow.

depends on his armor, ofc, and on reflexes/latency.
we're oneshotting each other quite a lot using this in spars.

Trying to discover new combat moves? Can't keep up with that damned bear as it runs in to the woods? Look no further than your local cliff!

When using a cliff to aggro an animal and prevent it from chasing you, before you make it run off, try to find a point in the cliff where you can move close enough that you can perform your moves. Of course, that means since you have yet to stop the animal from being aggressive towards you they will indeed try to hit you back so do make sure you've got a defensive move lined up.

At this point, all you really need to do is continue to move forward towards the cliff close to the animal, use some moves and back off again so as not to get owned. Continue process until combat discovery appears, learn new move, kill dumb animal. I can't really make a precise UA and/or melee recommendation but probably 20-30 is alright for boar and below while there may be more needed to handle a bear.

I've noticed that animals move around a lot, particularly when you try to get close to them. This makes it difficult for a noob to aim properly before shooting an arrow at an animal. How do you stop animals from getting away from you before you can shoot?
