I think yes, got hit like that only once and yeah, it was hhp after KO

Sort of yes. I was hit about 3-4 times or something during the course of that ridiculous cave-in. The first hit KO'd me, and I saw my hhp slowly drop after each hit.

I remember reading something about cave-ins not being as lethal as before or something, so I'm assuming what happened as those rocks kept hitting me was that the damage they were supposed to do was just converted into wounds of some kind, (was mostly blunt / concussion related).
