The Walrus Holocaust has begun. Their deaths will not be in vain, though, as the precious materials that we carve out of their dead husks will be used to supply our village.

My first big haul of walrus! Found them all on the same beach. They were separated in groups of two and three. Killing a group of 3 was a lot easier than I thought! Just needed some smart kiting. Thankfully, I managed to easily haul them all back to my village since I had crossroads leading all the way up to the beach. Next on the list are mammoths and trolls!



EDIT: Through some stroke of luck, I found another pair of walrus at the same beach after I passed through just a couple of minutes later.

I have but two questions;
What on earth is that green armor?
and
How are you fighting them? I'd assume you're leading them to cliffs so you can actually 1-on-1 them instead of having to deal with them in groups.

The armor is a Cutthroat Cuirass.

Nah, I just fight them all in a group. Here's a new picture of my recent war against the walruses.



The newer, five corpses are all from the same group. Walruses are actually easy to kite when you're on a horse. Even on Walk(Horse) speed you can easily kite them around. I just use Quick Barrage until I stack up 10 IP, then use Cleave twice. That's one walrus dead. Get rid of my openings after killing one walrus, then move on to the next. You just need to make sure that only one walrus can hit you at a time. They're so fat that they'll have trouble getting past each other. If you can lead them through a forest where they can bump into the terrain, I find that to be better.

As far as I know, there's no way to separate a walrus from the group? Either that or I just haven't figured it out yet. But yeah, I just kite them and whittle them down. Though if you get surrounded by five walruses, you're probably fucked.
