this is unacceptable because you trapped him in the way that he cannot do anything and show that to others in public for a laugh. and then voting... please. this is different from "should i hell this post or not" poll, but public execution by the community.

Is that your complaint? Really? That's the roleplaying aspect of this, I can't see any problems with it. Most kills in this game are for shits and giggles, and many of them get attention on the forum, with one side taunting the other.

I don't see anything wrong with what he did.

Executions, capturing people and things like this are things I think should be possible in the game.

Now, would I have done this myself? Probably not- unless I /really/ didn't like the person.

Frost is a raider, and one who lied left and right, he knew that sooner or later he would go down like this. Besides, he liked being hated - he said so himself. If we're talking psychological damage, I feel much more sorry for the players who give up on the game because bullies like Frost destroyed their motivation to play. Frost, on the other hand, actively sought this way of life.

i consider scaring newbs or raiding in a pvp game is a part of the game, though i strongly disapprove personally. i dont consider that bullying. if you dont like it you try to do something about it or you dont play. i find it fair enough. and who frost is doesnt matter. the community can try and drive him away, but bullying him is not the way.

Can you explain to me why you think bullying in this context is wrong?

And worse! Why not roleplay as Hitler? I mean, it's a game, we're free to do these kinds of things, and most people seem to understand that we do not actually support Nazism if we choose to make allusions to it in the game.

I am sure there is more than one person in this game who wants to create a faction that kills anyone that opposes them.

And at the same time, even more people who specifically want to destroy the first.

You may not consider it as such, but it is. The emotional stress of the victim is the same, and even enhanced, I'd say, because new players are particularly vulnerable due to their ignorance of the game and its practices. If everyone says it is ok to do that with nameless noobs, it should also be ok to do that with Frost.
Who Frost is does matter. All the rest being equal, a peaceful hermit being bullied is not the same as a bully being bullied.

I certainly see the difference, but I'm saying plenty of people just won't care

People can thrive off of abusing other people, especially in a setting like this where you can play with several month's work of a person in a play pen and force them to do impossible tasks or simply put their vote on the boards.

Trust me, they could have done far worse than this. And it's expected, really. We as humans have done preeetty terrible things in the past.
