Another idea would be to have the tafl board being able to be placed upon a table and open a minigame with someone else sitting on the table.

If you can be fucked you could make a pclaim over it, set white's permissions to full rights and then leave a runestone with a public hearthsecret. It's a good way to offer up little settlements to whoever wants to use them
