A test server with 100x convenience bonus would let players hop on in a weekend and test out new stats mechanics quickly, while having some fun.

Currently mechanics are only tested in long cycles, aka the world lifetime.

To be hones this game fighting mechanic is literary the worst compared to ANY other similar game:
1) Its confusing to new players.
2) It's unflexible to those who knows the best current deck.

Fighting mechanic should be changed to something more casual to bring players.

All other mechanics are much more deep and interesting than most games. So instead of setting a skillcap its better to rework the battle mechanics.

Also "permanent world" in this game means online decrease and no new players. This game should have at least a yearly wipe. I've played a lot at the start of this world and had me village (6 people - at least 4 all time premium members). But all people left at some point after death or other reasons. No one returned because it's not interesting to have Q 100 crops when other ppl have 200+ already. Let's be realistic - devs need to put food on their families tables. And having 800 active online players is better than having 300.

That's why I think we need to replace infrastructural grind with per-item grind.

yeah the stats kinda stop me from returning but at the same time they keep other people on playing so idk

Hmm.. this world started off with a stat cap to combat originally didn't it? Just not a cap towards stats in terms of affecting things crafted or non-combat things, but then the cap was removed at some point by the devs. Honestly I've never been good at combat at all, just running away. :lol:
