Yup
All things thrown in water are saved. And then players can fish them up randomly or find washed up in shores. Quite nice mechanic I think

It is a really neat mechanic, it kind of sucks how you mostly catch trash but it's to be expected.

snuby: Occasionally you get cool early game stuff, like WWWs from other parts of the map. Later on the selection will get bigger from people drowning and accidentally dropping travelers sacks in the water and other stuff like that.
