When people started gathering for the Spooky Carnival of Aurora that happened this Saturday :3



It was really fun, we played some familiar games that have been around in other worlds or events and in CF like archery contest, musical chairs and races, which work pretty well in Haven and also... played... (tested? ) out several new games I came up with for this event like Crazy Carts, Banging Barrels, Eating Contest and -finally!- our national sport, Capture the Wheelbarrow! Fortunately they all seemed to be quite fun and engaging!

The Festival square also worked nicely as it keeps everything in one place, might require a few changes and reforms to avoid some issues that came up in the last minute but it worked out and many people have suggested doing more carnivals/game events like this... So perhaps we'll be adopting a weekly or bi-weekly schedule (but on saturdays) so there'll be plenty of options for everyone in the hearthlands for the whole weekend!

"There's always a party to go if you know the right people", they say so no lame excuses to spend the weekend on the couch hopefully we'll have more soon

spooky festival post

i really enjoyed watching whichever team it was (i don't remember who was on it) get fuckin' SMASHED in one of the capture the wheelbarrow rounds, but the archery contest was my favorite, rooting for people i didn't even know. i felt like one of those idiots watching a sport on TV screaming at it
