I think this is the case as well, same for stuff like dark hearts, woodshavings etc

More than the fact that gate and door are not lined up, it bothers me greatly that the gate itself is not centered on the bridge

Using Ctrl- to place the tower could've solved this albeit the 'isle' would need to be a tile larger
