I'm literally logged into the game doing nothing right now because I have no interest in doing anything. Having the entire quality system determined by what nodes you find mining made me completely lose interest in progressing. I think a lot of other players feel similarly.

The difference is that it would have been in from the start and everyone would have progressed taking it into account. Having your last two months of work on quality invalidated by 20 minutes of mining is really really fucking stupid and hard to deal with.

Cuck-Hombre is certainly an argument for a reset, but I'd like more than an argument, and in particular I need -- or would like -- development reasons to want to do one, and I don't have that. I have no intention of rushing off to a map reset without actually improving on the map generator for one thing, and there are other things -- most importantly attempts at social order -- that I want to do before that.
Maybe consider focusing development sessions on discussing or planning some reset worthy changes, because I don't think interest is going to hold very long in this current iteration.
