The game is extremely repetitive and it's killing people's motivation to play this game. I can shamefully admit I have been addicted to haven since I joined the game in world 2. I didn't know if I could ever steer myself away from this game despite the logical flaws that irritate me. And here I am like many people, bored and burned out of the game.

I joined this community because i loved reading the stories about wayneville and Co. people made when they went on rampages. And of course the ensuing QQ that followed. The idea of creating such drama motivated me to play the game and become good enough to do such things. The motivation is still there but there just isn't anything else to do in this game that's fun. It's literally the same thing everyday.

Get online, farm the crops, unravel silk, feed the animals, set up rams and hope to God no one finds them. Ram still there? Raid a inactive village for loot. Rinse and repeat.

That's haven and hearth.

that sounds boring, it explains why it always has two digit of players, so not only do you have to fix the horrible trial system with so little time to play you also have to fix the repetitive gameplay

It's been this way since I started playing about halfway through w3. It does get a little better each world (exception being w7 since they were still trying to get Salem to a working state). Each world reset, I've seen a few hundred more people logging in and sticking around each time. Each world, it drops down to a few hundred hardcore players and people bouncing in and out when they feel like goofing off.

The game has tons of potential, but as mentioned in this thread earlier people wear out when they have tried most features.
There needs to be something that keeps people playing. I can not see that PvE will be able to keep people in any way in
this game. It is not that kind of game. Instead it will be PvP and player interaction that keeps people around.

A smaller world. A more transparent political system with more defined entites might make it more interesting. Right now it is impossible to keep track of who is who.
Maybe have a group/guild/clan system that also is visible outside game, but linked to the game? Alts will be a problem anyways.
More detailed crafting system with more recipies for equipment. Do not make processes more cumbersome or convoluted than
they have to be?
A balanced combat system not based on weird mechanisms? A more intuitive system with less gimmicks/bars. Lower stat caps even more for more player on player action?
You could have battles from day one with axes, bows and spears over resources or good village spots. People with good strategies/tactics would win instead
of people who have a lot of spare time. (Even though it would still help to have time on your hands).

Make the need to eat tons of food in one sitting obsolete.
Make the game focus on territory/resource control, diplomacy instead of who can eat the most in the shortest ammount of time? The entire food system is silly.
Why would certain knives and other utensils give bonuses? What is the explanation to that? Drop the symbels.

It would be interesting to see a test server with the aforementioned changes.

on a waiting for a new world mode to start fresh
There was a wise soviet conscript that was surrounded by the enemy on the battle of Stalingrad. A mortar shot teared his pants apart causing a big hole in his pants right on his right butt cheek. He felt a glorious cold ass breeze of wind on his butt cheek, like it would be sent by stalin himself, he said - hide your butts
