After a few hours of travelling the air got a bit foggy and I got goosebumps up both arms, I do not really know why, just a feeling I got.
Like I was being watched.

Anyways this lasted for quite some time before I finally wrote it off as a bad Smelt filet I had for breakfast.

Time went on for what seemed an eternity when I started to notice something strange. I started seeing dead animals in larger and larger numbers. First chickens then some foxes then badgers and even a deer.
I got a real sinking feeling and began to get very nervous. My attention focused to an alarming degree and I started paying attention to every little thing. I noticed all sorts of stuff I really had not noticed before.
Then it happened. I was so scared I could not move, I froze in panic. I saw another person in the wild. Fortunately for me I think he was as scared as me as he immediately ran off the second he saw me.

After I regained my composure and changed my pants I set sail again taking deeper breaths.

Now I was really wondering how this journey was going to End.

After awhile the trip kinda became monotonous. Go down this river til you get to this lake then this river again, always heading West and a little South.

But the monotony did not last for long. I finally reached a spot where I could not go West any further. There was not more waterways to go down.
I remembered some Hearth Magic that made it possible for a boat to travel across land so I disembarked and built a wooden roadsign.
I travelled the path I wanted to go and built more roadsigns to show the way. At the end I placed another roadsign then ran back to my ship.

Upon 'Traveling" upon the path I made I realized I had made a critical error. I did not know what the pointy thing meant on the sign so just kind of ignored it.

Well I learned the hard way what it meant......

I landed ! Literally ! Not what I wanted ! OMG WTF. My new ship and everything I owned was inside.
I started to panic. My chest heaved but no air was getting in, I was doomed, my life was over !
I began cursing at the ship then at everything around me, I even kicked a stump.

Well after a while I began to calm down.

I reviewed and reassessed my situation and only came up with one solution. BEG for help from the Gods.
I prayed and prayed to every diety I could think of and in a new place I had never prayed to before my prayer's were answered.

There was a Russian voice (sorry I can not reproduce the name but I could not write it down because of it being in russian)
and the voice was telling me what I could do to move the ship.

I did as suggested and the first two attempts did not work but the third worked, but only partially because it moved me even further INLAND instead of towards the water

So now I am finally happy and back to sailing.
A HUGE thanks to the Russian that helped me.

For an eternity and a half it seemed I followed one waterway after another heading further and further West.
after one particularly long stretch of a narrow river I came to a sudden halt.

It seems the owner of a nearby building placed something submerged in the water that barred my passage.
I jumped out and went up to the property but the gates were shut and it appeared that nobody was home.

With a huge sigh and wondering what could possibly go wrong next I jumped back in the boat and reversed my path.
I ended up having to go up and around a huge mountain because some guy was not being nice.

This set me back in a huge way. and effectively added a third of my total trip's time to the journey.

Saddened I just plugged on ahead.

I went through a bunch of Kingdoms I had not heard of before like Fire and Ice and others. I saw many a beautiful sight
and had to change pants yet again when i saw another person in a rowboat.
Luckily this person too was as scared as me as he turned around and went in the opposite direction as me as soon as
we saw each other.

After all my trials and tribulations I arrived in Deka.
I unloaded the knarr and stuck everything in a cave I found.

The leader of the Realm came to welcome me and we shared a few laughs at my expense.
I proudly swore an Oath to her and the other residents of the realm and started to settle in.

After a few days my village sight was all levelled and ready to settle so i built my Village Altar.

and as such I was in my new home.... THE SOUTH.

Unfortunately the very next day a Prominent Seer prophecised the end of the world as we know it.
Such is my luck but hopefully I will be reincarnated to find more friends in the next life.
Hope to see y'all there !

At last, mystery solved ... so you just had to keep building signs until one of them put you back in the water?
I've been wondering all this time how you got it back off the land ... I had visions of you digging it out ...

It was lovely to have met you and have you travel all that way to join us, it's such a shame in that way that the world end came so soon after, in a lot of ways I am excited for a new world, so much has been added that I was sort of yearning to start again and redo everything but I am sad to lose the realm and all of you guys who came to settle there before it was even properly completed.

I hope you all saw a different side to Haven and will fare well in a new world, for some of you, hopefully somewhat more experienced and better prepared ... be warned, a new world brings a lot more competition, griefing and vying for spots so take care out there and keep in touch. :)

I regret nothing.

It was a lot of hard work getting ready for the move, building the knarr and the trip itself, but it was all in fun and I learned alot from doing it.

Not to mention I met some really cool people.

Please let me know if you are going to do a realm in W10 because if so I would love to join again and if not I will start looking for some like minded people to start either with or nearby.
