in all seriousness though. It sounds like OP is being petty because the glory days of wallbashing by hand and unchecked looting, raping, and pillaging are over.

this game doesnt cater to anyone. there is no carebear. literally the only piece of this advice gives you is "build a hearthfire"

Well and you can get 90% of your stats back after you die but that is so hardcore right xD

If you just want to kill people without effort then maybe you shouldn't look to a game with permadeath as a core mechanic

ironically when we had wallbashing (bwall & palisade) crime was most of the time met with punishment and real conflict

Funny. I just saw a bit of a "game theory" post on this a week or so ago. Forget who posted it, but it went into discussion of what it was like clear back in w3 when even brick walls were vulnerable at any time.

I made a thread in C&A about this before. Scents have gradually been getting harder and harder to leave as time goes on, culminating in the ability to summon a fucking spooky ghost on any random scent you find. What the fuck is even the point of nidbanes as a mechanic other than a direct detterant to leave scents? The game doesn't feel like a sandbox when the mechanics directly fight one playstyle.
