Meat from the major supermarket chains in Australia is already halaal. I'm not sure how Australia is a better option at all in that regard. We are literally paying them off to leave us alone. But guess what, we all have to get up and go to work tomorrow. I'm a Conservative all the way, but I lived through Clinton and Obama, they were my president even though I didn't like everything about them. It happens. I think the United States is the greatest country on Earth for a reason, because of the first amendment to our great Constitution. The second helps a lot, but the first is truly what has always made USA truly a wonder of the world.

I say this not because I think anything less of other countries, but the United States of America have treated me, my family, and even my immigrant spouse well.

a nation thinks they're divided by politics, when in fact they're governed by financial capital that needs very few jobs, not enough for a strong middle class... with few jobs and no leverage, blue colar wages get worse since the 70s, people get pissed and think populism will shake the status quo... but financial capital is the kraken released by the nations when they removed regulations back in the 90s, it cannot be contained... "democracies" slowly become dictatorships of billionaires, consuming the earth towards a point of no return, meanwhile demonizing any other political experience that does not "meet the standards"(billionaires first!)

if I seen this movie and Trump wins, there will be a lot of macho celebration, a.k.a. intimidation, but slowly things will get back to "normal"

For what it's worth, I don't like Biden myself. I'd rather have seen Mayer Pete or a couple of the others get the nomination. I like Bernie, too, as he has great ideas, but just isn't a President. I'm generally against the VP running for President on the coattails of their party's previous victory as it's usually another person that was running and just didn't measure up in the first place. Going back in history, the VP generally isn't as strong a leader as what is necessary. Johnson and Madison are a couple of the exceptions.

It's pretty close to what I've seen. What news feed you using? (I hope not Facebook.) The whole electoral congress process is an utter mess, plus the massive number of mail-in ballots this year.... don't believe any results called in the next few days unless it's a obvious lead with everyone calling it the same way. Anyone that was around for the 2000 election will know what I'm talking about.
