PVP is primarily used to grief people *now.* Absent pvp, the griefing would remain, and it doesn't take abundant imagination to see the forms it would take- piles and piles of alts swarming around your base, immune to harm, blocking your egress would suddenly become the cheapest method of siege warfare.

The only way to fix this game is to make a permanent client which will never happen unless the game is bought out and taken to a dev team that would do it to prevent all botting. For now, this is what haven is. Sadism and bots.

That or, show each of these people individually that what they’re doing is bad for their souls - If there’s any of it left. That what they’re doing is hurting themselves as they’ll carry this with them their whole lives whether they realize it or not.

It’ll affect their relationships, the thoughts in their head, their opportunities, their addictions to cope with their actions, and they’ll find themselves sinking ever deeper into realizing that even in a pretend world their actions are accounted for.

That being said, when you do good things a good phantom will follow you consequentially.

Thats a worse fate. So, enjoy the corpse, and the new ghost that will follow you until you forget where it even came from.

This is only possible because the game was designed with this in mind. Easily solvable by removing player collisions.
